They're correct, Lovefilm is Amazon Prime now.
To the OP, don't stress at all. I've had two trials with Amazon in the last year (benefit of moving home) and as long as you make sure it says it is cancelled you'll be fine. Just enjoy a month of free film. Oh, but be sure that any film or show you watch has the ''Prime'' label on it. Anything that comes up saying this will cost x amount will cost you x amount, as I found out with two movies.0 -
I guess you are being incredibly pedantic! Amazon bought Lovefilm and then replaced it with Anazon Instant Video which is free with Amazon Prime.
To be totally accurate, Lovefilm is now "LOVEFiLM By Post" which cost £4.00 per month and is separate from Prime and Prime Instant Video which is £79 per year.0 -
Someone else that has completely missed the point!!! Pedants rule huh!!!!0

No, just correcting your error.
To say 'Amazon Prime is Lovefilm' is just wrong.
Lovefilm is a small part of what Amazon Prime is.
It's like saying MSE is the internet. Do you see?
I understand you're upset over people pointing out your error.0 -
Sigh!!! God bless this forum and its army of pedants!!! I'm out.0

Hang on, i thought Prime was some kind of fast postage option, not film rental.0

Amazon prime used to be a paid for service that for a yearly payment of around £40 (I can't remember the exact figure) gave you next day delivery on most items sold by Amazon or sold by other sellers but fulfilled by Amazon.
The Amazon purchased Lovefilm and shortly after this time they incorporated film streaming into the Prime service and increased the annual subscription to £79.
IMO, this still works out at good value if you make use of the streaming service but if you don't, £79 covers an awful lot of next day deliveries if you pay it yourself.0 -

The problem I found is 90% of the things I've ordered don't seem to be eligible for Prime. I got a refund for it yesterday as one thing I ordered on Wednesday which was eligible for Prime was in stock at the time (showing 3 left) but still hasn't arrived.0
