OOh, the Good Ole Boys Slaughtering Ceilidh Band are now going to do a set of traditional Scottish reels, grab your partners and let's do the Highland Fling! Oops, mind Swedish Chef, he's still trying to offload the Roti Huhne cocktails....And duck! There goes the haggis pavlova - he's having one of his tantrums again....One life - your life - live it!0

I will be back, hopefully later on today,to update.
I've spent a lot these last two days - in the sales. Most presents for this year are sorted. Most people are getting table linen/toiletries.Even the men!
I bought some lovely,'precious' things for myself, including a beautiful bedspread, which I don't need (of course).I would never have bought it if it weren't in the sales...
I think that I need to start leaving my cards at home, which is what I usually did,up until the house move.:o
Naughty marmite. How easy it is to slip back into old habits.A lot of what I have bought have been essential for the flat though.
cw18 I'm glad for you that your wrist is finally on the mend. Was the plate always on the cards?I don't know anything about wrist surgery. It's been a long haul for you.
PS Please don't forget that Hubert was hankering after your pink splint!0 -

Well thank goodness that's over, sorry for anyone who likes NYE but I for one am not a fan, overcrowded pubs that you have to pay to get in despite drinking in there every others day of the year free, taxis cost a fortune, some enforced sense of joviality and then so many people waking up on 1st jan before going back to work fretting about overspending.
Sorry, sound a right bhs humbug. Well didn't end 2014 on s NSD, will have to think of my jan target.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Hi all (from 2015)
Didn't make it in but did make my target of 18 :j. Didn't make it in to work on 30th though as I overslept:eek:. Not good; but everyone has been really nice about it so far and were more worried about me as they couldn't get me on the phone. Will see on Monday if boss wants to see me.
Am glad to be back to proper routine next week; being away has been lovely but it's nice to be in my own bed again
See you all in January's thread
