Apologies if this has been covered before has anyone ever purchased this Xiaomi phone and if so whats your opinion of it? its coming from a uk seller

According to GSM Arena it will only work on 2G in the UK, might be wrong though.

i think it only works on EE and 3 for 4g

It'll work on 2G and 3G in the UK on all networks.

It'll work on EE and Three 4G however 4G coverage will be limited due to the phone's limited frequency support. So you may find rural 4G coverage will be poor on this phone.

It won't work on Voda/O2's 4G at all but will work on 3G/2G as mentioned above.
