Restiction codes?

Hi can anyone help me,i have brought a Nokia201+gone to put a sim in+it is displaying enter Restriction Code.I`ve watched numerous youtube videos+even tried a few codes off youtube of which none worked!!Does this mean the phone is Locked??Please Help,it would be very much appreciated.Leanne.

It means the phone is locked to a different network. You will need a code to unlock the phone so that you can use your SIM card.0 -
Would it allow me to use a sim to the network the phone is with?as its a tesco mobile nokia201?Thankyoux0

Yep you'd be able to use a sim from the network it is locked too.0 -
