Thanks for everybody's input. In-laws haven't had any more calls so I think the scammers know they've been rumbled. They are still of course upset but FIL does acknowledge they've been silly.

Sorry; update. Those cheeky barstewards only called FIL again tonight! Despite FIL saying no to parting with more cash and telling them the police are now involved they didn't seem fazed!0
