Don't be worried, because even if they are compromised and some dodgy fella is shopping in Taiwan with your card, then you're not a victim of fraud. Barclaycard are the victim of fraud. Your pennies are safe.
Plus, what is worrying going to do? It's just unhealthy.0 -

Because the card company have already been on the case, cancelled the compromised card, and issued the poster with a nice shiney new one

In my case it's a different card issuer (Capital One) but I had two of my cards cancelled in the past due to suspected compromises. It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.0

Not been with Capital One for years, but even back then my experience was that they were particulary 'twitchy' about anything that suggests a possible security issue (even if it was all above board)
I think it's because they specialise in accounts for those with poor credit history0 -
Been 2 weeks now since I got the call telling me my card was cancelled.
No sign of the replacement yet. I'm going to need it fairly soon as I some of my online subscriptions are failing and they won't take my debit card.0
