David - I agree with that but being ultra careful should not include accusing customers of fraudulent practices. There are ways of checking politely.
and I agree with you
They should smile and say I need an executive decision on this one and pass the buck to a manager :rotfl:When The Fun Stops Stop

By my reckoning, he could have had a perfect pyramid and 4 cans left over to eat ... the labels are all over the place and should all be facing front, and the colours are not evenly distributed ... he may be good at shopping but some people have no attention to detail

If AS DA staff do their job properly no-one could ever get away with a dodgy APG (well they could but anyone clever enough wouldn't bother). Can I just ask - how do they tell an APG is fake ? Do they mean its been used before - if so, they surely would only know if they have a database of all APG numbers to compare it against. And they would need to include all store nationwide. Checkig would be a nightmare. Or do they mean that some devious git has somehow edited the actual APG to scan at a much higher value. I don't understand all these suggestions of fraudulent vouchers.
Thing is some staff are dim and/or lazy and/or corrupt, and/or untrained and/or bored.
Even the supervisors/managers struggle to understand the system.0 -
