    How's DD2?

    Third year now? :o

    Keep up 4th year. :p

Been giving permission to intercalate next year :T Obviously has to apply but wants to do a MA, which totally mucks up student finance :(, all that info you gave me.

Still will get fees paid by NHS. And bank of mum will help. :o She will move back home for the year and just go back for the contact time. Mates sofas etc. :money:

  • Afternoon Elite!

Just catching up after spending most of the day sat in traffic trying to get to the Trafford Centre for some Christmas shopping yesterday.

JF - No longer working as MSM is also showing Elixir at £9.99 in T correct?

Udis - What's going on there no mention of it from the catching up I've done today (Unfortunately I didn't do all 50 pages I'd missed lol)

Impulse Trigger - Also ended... MSM found it at A so didn't dare risk it.

Otherwise anything else I've missed? :)

You probably all know this but I've just discovered that if you look at your last order on Asda, there is a facility to request refunds for anything that was unsatisfactory. It also shows you what refunds they have already processed at the collection point. My rejected vodka is showing as 'processed' but the chocolate croissants are still there - so I've requested a refund on those as well. I didn't know you could do that.

Forgot not quite I will have to top up difference between Bsc/BA fees and MA fees about £2000.

Think she will hopefully get a bit of NHS bursary and possibly bursary/scholarship from uni to help too. We shall see, she is hoping to get a part time job while home.

She know colleagues who have not been able to get student finance for 5th year because by doing MA they have higher degree? So she wants to save as much as she can before final year. Not sure what will happen about elective now.

    Elective.

Defo abroad. Personal preference I guess but I didn't want to go to America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand etc. as their healthcare systems are extremely good just like the UK.

I decided to go to a developing country because it really does put things to perspective. Awful stuff seen at times. :(

How sad, Charlottes babies body has been found.:(

My daughter and I knew Charlotte and her parents. I was on school PTA with her Dad some years ago and he died quite young of a sudden heart attack. If I remember Charlotte began having problems then. My DD remembers going to Glastonbury Festival with her. My heart goes out to her Mum, sister and Boyfriend. RIP Charlotte and Baby.
