Sorry I'm not sure whether to take you serious or not ? And I'm certainly not wanting to cause a fight or offence.

Did you mean for the interest of speaking to other people on the autistic spectrum ?

Actually I'm not really sure what you meant and maybe reading to far into this ?

    confused ?

From what I understand (and I may well be wrong) Savvy is autistic. He wrote about this to another poster and I thought it may be helpful to them if they were to start up a thread on autism so likeminded folk could also join in and share experiences etc.

As for you not knowing if you should "take me serious or not" I am a genuine person who for some reason has been subject to personal attacks on here by cliquish types. Fortunately I am very thick skinned and don't allow this to stop me from trying to help others wherever I can. Although Your post is framed in a challenging manner I do hope your confusion is now allayed by my response.

Unfortunately, I have to empty it as they take it away for free, plus it is in an outbuilding and there is only room for the one freezer.:(

I thought with modern freezers, you no longer have to leave them for a certain length of time before switching on?

Had to leave mine for a while, Ended up only leaving it for an hour though. Have to admit I actually put everything in it before I turned it on, wanted to use the insulation! You're supposed to start it empty!

I would not expect everything to defrost very quickly today, just keep it all together, it was fish and chicken I made sure stayed frozen, but you can achieve that by putting it in the middle of the heap!

Notes to self for the use of the new feezer.

    1) Always make sure opened bags of peas, sweetcorn etc are closed properly before putting back in the freezer

    2) Label anything that has been taken out of its original wrapper, so I will know what it is in a few months time.

    3) Ensure that everything is crop rotated and that new purchases are not just put on top of older items.

    4) Do not buy anything else to go in the freezer until it is at least half emptied.

Does anyone have any more suggestions, for keeping the contents of a freezer in good order?:)

I was probably reading you wrong, apologies if so. You see I dont see Savvy as someone with autism and he doesnt really dwell on it. Except when something that he can relate to comes up.

He has wide and varied interests and would have to start many many threads :) Thankfully someone usually can relate to his latest fascination.

Im far from cliquie , see I cannae even spell it :rotfl:

Thank you - was Dove showing as £1 when you ordered or £2.55 (or whatever it was!)? From different posts it seems to keep switching the online price so may be risky to order?
