Good evening Elite, not much time for shopping recently or posting but have lurked here and there. Will have a good catchup when I can, hope I've not missed too much with regards to RL - I just caught something above about FC and hospital so hope you are ok FC.
Ds2 has his date for his SCAIT assesment and Speech and laguage are now working with him at school, so feeling like we are getting somewhere at last.
Had a bit of drama with dd2 being bullied at school - she had perfume sprayed on her the other day and the girl who did it walked off saying "that's better ":( Dd2 does not smell at all and I think one her old school "friends" is behind it. They bumped into her accidentlally on purpose a few times today and they keep sniggering loudly when she walks by. Poor kid is trying to deal with it but got upset today. We were trying to keep an eye on it and hoped it would die down with no intervention but enough now.
I phoned the instigators mum who I've known since our daughters started nursery together and she got really upset and dragged her daughter round to ours to apologise. I am phoning school tomorrow as there are now 3 girls involved in the bullying and the other 2 need speaking to. It has left us all feeling a bit weary and teary, am a bit worried about what grief dd2 will get in school tomorrow for telling but I've told her to phone me if there is any trouble and I will come and get her. She is such a quiet soul who just wants to get on with everyone, she doesn't deserve this
Vent over.....sorry for the long post xx
Aww that's awful Strewthit's very upsetting when your kids are hurting. I think you've dealt with it absolutely the right way. Im glad the other girls mother did the right thing, hopefully it will be nipped in the bud and your DD gets no more grief

Bless ya. It's good that you know one of the Mums though, that usually helps. It's not really interfering it's just doing your absolute best to make sure your dd is safe and happy. That's being a fab Mum in my book xxCherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.
No matter how you feel, get up, dress up & never give up.0 -

My store is doing it and I have registered!
I have booked but whether I'll actually get there is another matter. Can't make the Friday and I have a parents evening on the Thursday. Exactly the same thing happened last year, they held it on same night as a parents evening. Im sure they weren't one hour slots last year though?
Thanks for the link TS0
