Thanks tweets they are usually quite sad and sometimes I need an excuse to have a little cry especially at this time of year:( I need to get myself sorted out now as have a very early start tomorrow and I have to be in London at the hospital by 9 oclock.Am not looking forward to it as having more tests (nothing serious) and will be hooked up until midday:( so need to sort a good book out to take and a packed lunch with me;)

    Hugs Nannylala (((X))) :A

Hope your tests go ok tomorrow and I imagine your packed dinner (lunch) will be very :money: ;)

Where did you get it from and have you complained about it before?

Youre not automatically entitled to a refund just because it's less than 12 months. After that amount of time they can reasonably offer you a repair or replacement. That doesn't mean you can't ask them for one though so do try that first.
If you haven't complained to them about it before, I wouldn't mention that it's been rubbish from the start either. By using it for 11 months you have 'accepted' the goods.
Ask for a refund as a starting point and go from there. You might get lucky

ETA Just saw your other post. What did they do when you last complained about it?

What a palaver. I had a nice flat glass one at first till it got a big crack in it somehow. Got a bit afraid of using it with it being electric and all so went out and bough a cheaper and by the look of it inferior one.

I don't like wasting money on hobs etc lol and I didn t at the time want another like I had in case the same thing happened again. The one I bought i s a white metal one with 4 raised plates on it. It takes ages to heat up and then ages to cool down again so we have to keep a pan of cold water on it which soon heats up while we wait for it to cool down,

Anyway I was under the impression my contract was with Homebase not some other company who supplied Homebase with the product in the first place. So was expecting a resolution with them. It goes on and on and even the woman I was dealing with felt my pain lol. The latest is after spending an hour at the store there today I have emailed one of the top men who this lady mentioned and see what he says.

Was due to have a guy come tomorrow to repair it but he s been cancelled as I don't want a repair or even a replacement. If I don't get my money back them so be it but would be nice if I do or even put towards a better one. I know one thing I won't be buying much from Homebase in the future. We are only talking of about £90 not a fortune to them but still quite a bit to me.:o

Interesting, these were £1 in M on APG at the weekend, I didn't think the price would change until the noon update today

I had looked for the Fererro Rocher in M's over the weekend to "spend" as part of the £5 fruit and veg with £5 other spend but couldn't find them - so I wonder if they're showing as N/A because they were OOS locally?

Thanks to 10 Ways. Been on the look out for one of these Actifry / Airfry thingy-mabobys. £69 with a 2 year guarantee doesn't seem bad at all.
