So sorry to hear this Tiny:A it certainly makes you rethink your own life when this happens so close to home

Thank you, I knew it was coming Nanny, she was in same hospice that my mum was in few weeks back. Not sure if she made it home again. It is sad her symptons were not picked up on earlier.

OH has the job of breaking the news to one of his friends she was close to. I wasn't close to her but her sister and I are very good friends, it does make you think.

Well it hits hard when you get a phone call and hear that a friend's sister has passed away not sure if she had even had her 50th birthday. :(

She had a son same age as DD1 and daughter same age as DD2, we used to all spend time together when they were younger. Unfortunately her symptoms didn't at first lead to a diagnosis of cancer, it came too late. :(:(

    RIP Debbie. :A

    So sorry Tinyshoes :(

    :A RIP Debbie :A

Sorry to hear your news Tiny.

I had a friend diagnosed with cancer 3 weeks ago, all a bit of a shock. Even more shocking was following a CT scan 2 weeks ago, she was told last week it had spread to her lungs. Awful news, and is so weird as she feels really well. She finds out tomorrow what treatment she is going to get.

I was told but forget where the cancer had started and where it had already spread to by the time she was diagnosed.

The individual symptoms were put down to being overweight. The bigger picture was not noticed. :(

I hope for successful treatment for your friend Ladyshopper. xx

    Have a lovely time. :)
