Nooo don't order if you won't use it.
I won't use the oil but I will find a home for them as sure my friend does but I will use the other products I have bought as I said I like Trevor Sorbie, not bought the straight protect and shine for couple of years so it's a treat for me.
I was good and didn't order any of the conditioners in stock as I still have huge stash. Nearly did an order for six things plus six free but stopped myself.0 -
Savvybuyer wrote: »I can see why the 750g Shreddies now, as I notice they are on 3 for £5 in A. That does look good, compared to A's 'normal' pricing. Obviously they slipped onto that mbuy whilst I was looking the other way. Still not as good as 1Kg version vs T.
Still no good, they won't work:
Vs M
2 x Nestle Shreddies (750g)£3.33£6.76:(
1 x Kellogg's Coco Pops (550g)£1.67£2.00:(
Coco Pops really expensive at equivalent £1.67. Still much better to get 800g vs T, unless anything really worthwhile and extra can be found to reduce that £1.67 price down far more. Maybe cond.spends in T:laugh:?
Morries mbuy on Heinz soups not picked up:(.
1 x Heinz Classic Cream of Chicken Soup (400g)£0.60£0.89
1 x Heinz Classic Scotch Broth (400g)£0.60£0.89
2 x Heinz Classic Oxtail Soup (400g)£1.20£1.78
1 x Heinz Classic Beef Broth (400g)£0.60£0.89
5 for £3 in M? Not forefront of my mind, as too expensive!
Mbuy on tablet Raspberry Jelly picked up though:
3 x Hartley's Raspberry Jelly (135g)£1.00£1.00
At least we now know that's in a mbuy with itself - no clue as to what other flavours, if any, might be in that mbuy on the actual APG. I noticed in M there had been a pack design change on the Hartley's jellies again. Last time that happened, I noticed that, on one flavour at least, the ingredient "water" had been moved up the list, so that, it appears, the jellies had been watered down. Another way of saving costs and giving us, in effect, less for our money. Sorry Hartley's - it's equivalent to a weight reduction in my view!
Fortunately, this time, there were still a few old packs of one flavour kicking around in M. So what has happened this time, as these have now apparently become "Jolly" jellies or something - I can't remember, I pay no attention to any promotional puffery intended to try to get me to purchase anything?:rotfl::money: I noticed the 'older' ones (the second pack design of the now three) had "citric acid" as an ingredient. But the new one (the third design) has "acid", and then "citric acid". So - they have acidified them, it seems, and with non-citric bits on top! Now more acid:eek: than citric acid, never had any plain acid before (as far as I can see).
Meanwhile:
Still vs M
1 x ASDA Chosen by You Bourbon Creams (300g)£0.33£0.65
2 x ASDA Chosen by You Rich Tea Biscuits (400g)£0.67£1.00
I might start buying biscuits in M if they don't stop trying to annoy me! Mr A - your wombles are causing me to consider shopping elsewhere. Please can you put a nice price increase on these items and others, otherwise I shall shop elsewhere. Except for items that I already have on my planned Sains. shop, I want none of those increasing and things ruining!:rotfl:
Very expensive rich tea biccies don't you think? 33 and a third pence equivalent for a 400g pack? Surely, I remember S/P/Eday Value being much much less cost!
A packet of T Eday Value 300g, at 23p:eek::rotfl:, is still cheaper by weight than the CBY 400g at 33 odd pence, and not having to buy three packets of biscuits!:money:
This not yet being picked up vs M:
1 x ASDA Smartprice White Toilet Tissue - 200 Sheets p...£1.95N/A
I wonder how long before the price collectors spot it? Probably several months IMO:rotfl::rotfl:. Currently £1.95 in M - again, no good as T's Double Length 6 pack was comparing to straight £1 on 6 pack in M when they used to stock that. Now seems best would be to settle for 10% off M's price:(, once we've waited several months with no loo paper and for it eventually to appear. Sometime by next summer, maybe:rotfl:.
Coco pops got 500 more points on the family pack so £1.42 net v T ( T offer ends tomorrow)0 -
Well it hits hard when you get a phone call and hear that a friend's sister has passed away not sure if she had even had her 50th birthday.
She had a son same age as DD1 and daughter same age as DD2, we used to all spend time together when they were younger. Unfortunately her symptoms didn't at first lead to a diagnosis of cancer, it came too late.:(
RIP Debbie. :A0 -
