hmm, I just tried it with a single £1 and it seemed to work.

edit to clarify: a basket over £25 with a single £1 evoucher used.

I amended an order last night (in a hurry) and switched a voucher as was spending more, today noticed the expiry date is Sat, 20 Dec 2014 (all my other vouchers are Tue, 16 Dec 2014)

I'm sure it works, but don't want to give out bad information so use with caution!

    ooh interesting…

    will have to play x

Well, my bit of a muggles shop worked.

9 items (8 different) on your bill qualify for comparisonASDALogoWhite.gif Tesco

    +£2.95CheaperSignBlue.gif
0.16 x ASDA Bananas by Weight per kg£0.11£0.10
    2 x ASDA Pomegranate Loose£1.96£0.75
    1 x ASDA Smartprice Still Water (2L)£0.17£0.17
    1 x Maltesers Tube (75g)£1.00£0.66
    1 x Galaxy Minstrels Tube (84g)£1.00£0.67
    1 x M&M's Peanut (90g)£1.00£0.67
    1 x Fox's Chocolatey Shortcake Biscuits (130g)£1.79£1.00
    1 x ASDA Smartprice Pork Pies (4 per pack - 440g)£0.99£1.05
1 x ASDA Smartprice Medium Sliced White Bread (800g)£0.45N/A
    Comparison total (compared products only)£8.02£5.07

Very expensive, as the pomegranates seemed somewhat smaller than what they used to be! I think what used to be the standard Pomegranate is now called the Large Pomegranate and they charge £1.50 for it:eek:, whilst the standard Pomegranate is a lot smaller than what it used to be. Hardly much more than those three pack things - and, having been straight £1 months ago, then went up to over £2:eek:, now at £1.35 and now trying to get me to buy two packs of three (2 for £2) in order to make the 'saving'. Not having it. But 0.9 (10% cheaper;)) x75p /2 x3 = just over £1.01:eek:, so paying more than my guide price of £1 for a 3 pomegranate pack - mind you, those in the packs are not big and they ought have compared vs M at £1 some weeks ago but don't seem to have picked up M's product yet, so 90p net. (in theory) not available!

Fox's Viennese Raspberry & Cream (yum, yum, yum:D:() bought but still really expensive biscuits. Work out at just 89p back off a total £2 spend = £1.11:eek::eek:, divided by 2 = 55 and a half pence and having to buy two packs:(. Really the Fox's biscuits should go to normal 50p offer prices instead, so... to be paying more than that...! They are, as always, small packs compared to 200g or even 400g own brand products so, again, expensive biscuits!

No S/P Minced Beef & Onion Pies this time of night (I forgot them earlier) so couldn't get them now and put in the Pork Pies instead.

No Milky Way Stars at all in my store - they really are OOS - so I tried M&Ms instead and then chucked in a S/P Water in case the M&Ms were a no-show.

It was a muggles shop though, as what I ought to have done would be this:

2x John Frieda Elixir Oil with JF Extra Strength, assuming that is still on.

    Together with
    1 x Maltesers Tube (75g)£1.00£1.00
    1 x Galaxy Minstrels Tube (84g)£1.00£1.00
    1 x M&M's Peanut (90g)£1.00N/A

    Vs Morries.

Even though the tube packs are about 27p each (after APG vs T), they would work out cheaper with the JF comp. as that deducts £2.78 making them, on a Morries comp., about minus 32p each despite not comparing to 'best' vs T. Rather than no JFs, comparing vs T and making them about plus 27p each. Strange times indeed!

I should therefore have bought the JF combo, the tubes combo. and four 10p sweets that all compared vs M, as that would have been a total net cost of minus 62p, rather than buying items and comparing vs T!
  • I do love this! Answers please aau x

    I don't think it works like that… but I maybe wrong x

I did ask for her card to provide positive feedback, she gave me it and said you only get 25 points for completing the on line survey. I smiled sweetly and said good service needs to be acknowledged….. and 25 points is after all 75p towards my ring!

    :D:D:D:D:D:D

I have a SA in my local like that, she always tells me what offers are going through and always asks what i am buying for points/litle money today, very keen at scanning coupons too!
Now when i go to her till, she just takes all my coupons and scans to see which ones scan.
