Logie, we are having the same trouble but on a lesser scale. OH was in hospital, nearly lost his foot and had extensive surgery (7 hour operation, osteomyelitis in the ankle). He is a different person, less patient and several other things have changed. We are working through it but it is hard. I'm sure you will get there, it will just take time. We found a holiday where we had to concentrate on each other helped a lot.
Don't need champagne, we have several bottles such as Lanson Black Label in the wine rack. Every time we drink one we end up being given two from other sources :eek:What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

Historical (or "sunk") costs don't influence relevant costs. As she is not selling them on for profit there are no deprival costs to consider so use replacement cost instead
(See, this site aids my revision )Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

Morning all
We've got that 'fine rain that soaks you through' this morning so DS2 and I are just drying out after the school runShattered after a rubbish nights sleep and so a sofa day is on the cards especially as back to work tomorrow and Friday. Had confirmation email from F&F but happily nothing cancelled as yet. Cheese/weekly shop coming via DHs account at lunchtime and £12 off code accepted at checkout so will cross fingers for that.
Had an email with free delivery code for The Book People so may be able to tick off another present or two
Hope you managed a better sleep than me! The boys are fine thanks. DS1 has settled into school really well and has already had star of the week twiceDS2 is coming on well now he gets all of the attention in the day too
DH and I are rather rocky at the moment thoughWe were arguing into the early hours which I why I'm so shattered. I'm a different person physically and emotionally after the last couple of years and it's taking it's toll on the relationship. We'll have to find a way through but just a bit stressed at the moment
Logie you have been through so much I am sorry you and your DH are going through a difficult time. :A
I think most relationships have sticky patches but become stronger for it. I hope things resolve themselves quickly. xx0 -
