Mobile phone contract

Hi all


A couple of years ago I took out a 24 month contract for my mobile phone and this time is up just after Christmas.


What I would like to no is do I have to give the company 1 months notice to cancel the contract or do I just cancel on the day when the time is up

Did you give the notice instore or did you have to phone.
I have heard so many complaints on this forum about phone support I am thinking it is best to go to the store and give notice face to face.

How face to face is better than over a phone? In both cases you can request a confirmation.

The safest thing to do is to request a PAC and port the number to another network, or agree a sim only deal or upgrade with the company which will start when your existing contract expires.
