Don't feel bad, I worked for a network for years and still find new stuff out all the time. It's all far too complicated.

Who is Tesco mobile partnered with ?[Vodafone/EE etc]
I plan to buy a PAYG phone next week but want to check the coverage is ok.0 -
Do NOT use Tesco Mobile. Their coverage check (O2) says I should have first class coverage both inside and out where I am. I get virtually no signal in my house and poor 3G coverage everywhere. Tesco don'ty seem to be able to solve the problem
What about if I don't want to live in your house?====0 -

I moved the Tesco Mobile last year. As they use O2 I have found coverage to be fine. I switched to Vodafone from O2 a while ago as I had very poor, if at all, coverage at work. Now it is fine and I get 4G at work too. So obviously over the years it has got better.
Recently bought an LG G3 to replace a Samsung Galaxy S3. The Tesco Mobile app wasn't compatible with QHD screens and I couldn't use the app. Sent a tweet to Tesco Mobile and within 2 weeks their app developers had brought out a new version which is now compatible. Still has a slight issue with it but I'm impressed so far.0 -
I'm also with Tesco Mobile, coverage is good especially in my house lol.0

I've had a Tesco sim for a couple of years now. Never had any trouble, and can heartily recommend them.
(I'm not very techie, so I hope this makes sense) - I have an iphone, and if I go into settings and turn "automatic carrier" off, it gives me a list of other I can select from. Right now it says O2-UK, vodafone-UK, T-mobile-UK, Orange, 3-UK.
I think maybe it piggybacks on all of them, and just selects whoever has the strongest signal when I switch it to automatic
This only happens when you are INTERNATIONAL roaming0
