Worked fine for me too.
There was. Option 4 one. Marital status part (You would have selected the option they asked for as it is your marital status anyway). There was then a 3rd test question later on too. Anyone disqualified obviously missed 1 or more of these.

Yeah, that one caught me out. Seems like a ridiculous place to put a test question to me - do they really need us to be paying that much attention when entering our marital status? Feeling grumpy now because I enjoy doing the political ones and it won't let me back in to try again!0 -
All of the surveys with that same format have similar hidden test questions. I've got used to them now.
Annoying I know, but they want us to be fully reading all of the questions. I don't think 3 is necessary though tbh! This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Oh I know what you mean, and I have come across them before. I don't even mind them usually, but I think putting them into demographic questions like gender or marital status, which (I hope!) don't require anyone to think too hard, just seems unnecessary. Every other one of those test questions I've seen before have been in the form of the same questions that they actually want you to be fully paying attention to, which just seems more logical to me. I can't help thinking there will be a few more genuine respondents who'll be caught out by things like that, meaning they'll miss out on genuine data.0

It asked for your martial status and then said irrespective of what it is please put 'X'.
To be fair if people read the entire question they wouldn't get caught out. Still overzealous to have three.
I've been caught out by such things before. More than once :rotfl: Now I'm mostly used to the layout of a survey, or which companies have them. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Yeah, I realise I missed that part of the question. I'm just questioning whether it's really necessary to check whether we're still paying attention when entering things like gender or marital status. It's the first time I've seen that. Presumably they were just trying to catch people out with that one, rather than genuinely concerned that people would give inaccurate answers because they weren't paying attention. From now on, I'll be much more careful when answering those questions!0 -
I know of one company that puts them literally right at the end, they have caught me out once before - lost me £4. Not good! This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
