Nanny, Margaret and Cattermole, thank you so much. I saw a friend today, and we had a coffee. When she met me, she gave me a big bear hug, and said "it's lovely to see you". Just 5 words, but they meant the world.


I simply said that DH was the same, and then moved on to talking about other things. We had a great laugh, and as we left, she slipped something into my coat pocket and said "just a little something for you".


It was a bar of chocolate, but was as precious as diamonds. Just to know someone thought of a little cheer-up gift meant the world.
