Always amazes me the number of people who won't buy xyz for their kids because it has sugar in it but they're quite happy for their 2 or 3 year old to spend hours playing with their mobile phone.

Perhaps your little boy has damaged the charging port. We won't let our 6 year old plug the chargers in because he is too heavy handed and is likely to break something.0
