Thanks for that comprehensive list, Bloomberg. There are certainly many points that might be of interest and importance to people in different contexts.
This thread is about car breakdown cover though. Correct me if I am wrong but I don't think Barclays offer such cover any longer with any of their accounts?0 -

We broke down in France and used the Nationwide cover. It was handled by Britannia Rescue from the UK and couldn't fault them.
Definitely worth the packaged account as we use all the parts of the insurance.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -
They do actually. You have to add travel pack feature costing £8.50Archi_Bald wrote: »Thanks for that comprehensive list, Bloomberg. There are certainly many points that might be of interest and importance to people in different contexts.

But there cover is provided by RAC and it doesnt cover as much as nationwide one does.0 -
I have 3 different current accounts for different reasons so I use the barclays, Halifax and nationwide app all the time. Barclays is my fav nationwide second but Halifax is by no means bad at all
All very good apps0 -

It is by no means uncommon for threads to diversify as you will see if you read this website even occasionally. My list was not really that comprehensive as there are a multitude of other features which set Barclays apart from the Nationwide.
As mentioned in another post Barclays DO offer breakdown cover - RAC fully comprehensive to be precise.Money is a wise mans religion0
