My new desktop came with 2 TB hard drive which contains the operating system (windows 8)and 32 GB SSd and I am wondering what will be the best use for this small SSD? I read somewhere that using it for ready boost could damage it !!plus I dont need ready boost as the system has 16GB of memory and it is quite fast...for…

Is it a Dell XPS8700? some of those come with a 32GB SSD cache and a 2TB hard drive, it's supposed to speed up operations by loading the most frequently used programs onto the SSD for faster access
