Welcome to the new peoples and I must say you are very brave joining us for what must be the hardest month to rein back your spending
Good luck but feel that I must say don't be too hard on yourselves. I would suggest you try to keep your Xmas spend separate from your 'normal' spend and see how you go. It will give you some idea of where you are ready for January
Oh - and very good luck !!... so DH is going to pick that up this afternoon on his way home from work. No sure whether to count that as another NSD as DH is spending or to include it as I gave him the money from the GC budget.
What should I do?

Hi everybody,
I'd like to join in if I may. I'm going to declare a budget of $300.00 for 2 people (Hubby and myself) and 2 fish.
My chest freezer if fairly healthy at the moment so I'm going to include Christmas in this budget, and I'm not planning on spending a lot on Christmas goodies as Hubby is scheduled to work and I've put myself forward to work Christmas Day, so hopefully it will be a quiet affair.
Spent so far:-
$4.47 / $300.000 -
I've added on £9.20 to my GC spend which is what DH spent on the skirt beef - he bought just over a kilo so enough to make 8 giant pasties - I just don't seem to be able to make small ones - I think I probably try to overfill them and they leak all over the place! The size I make them I can just fit 2 onto the baking sheet!
Oh, and I did get the 80p change!
Away for a long weekend so no more GC spending for a few days as spending this weekend will come from the "holiday budget".

Thank you. My tunnel fare was paid for using Mr T vouchers - I only paid £14 in cash! It's what I spend most of my vouchers on as we go to France at least a couple of times a year!
