Santander Cash ISA

The 'Cash ISA need to know' article point 6 ends thus:'you can earn 3% with Santander on the full £15,000.'
I took this to mean that if you invest £15,000 in a Santander cash ISA it will give a 3% rate.
I can find nothing on Santander's website to confirm this. Does anyone know?

It's probably this article: http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/savings/best-cash-isa, and what they refer to is the 3% AER 123 current account, not a 3% ISA.
  • Yes, I thought it was too good to be true. However, the phrase 'the full £15000' is very misleading. This is the upper limit for a cash ISA but not for the 1-2-3 Account.
Perhaps someone needs some grammar lessons to ensure what is written is what is intended - a touch of the panda which eats shoots & leaves.

Just read that link and it seems pretty clear to me.

ISA limit is £15k so refers to that. Then says that you can put up to £20k in Santander.

Considering most people have under £2000 it's fairly academic for the majority anyway.
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.
