Sorry if this is a stupid question, I am currently changing my landline and broadband provider from BT to EE. Do I need to contact BT or do I just place order with EE and let them take care of everything.

When I left BT for Sky, The latter sorted the broadband anyway, as they took over from O2, but when I accepted the broadband transfer, I asked for line too and they said they would take things from there. However, I did ring BT, on the following Monday just to check that things were as I thought and that there was no penalty to pay (I was in contract but there was a price rise)0
