Hi Alll....
I have purchased a new phone and i was wondering if any of you experienced people know how to root MOTO G 2nd GEN dual sim XT 1068 ??
I have googled and found many sites but i just dont know which one to follow. Please advise ?

my MOTO G (2nd GEN XT 1068) (android 4.4.4) dont have developers options anywhere ?......i am trying to root it but no such option...
pls advise0 -
In settings tap About phone then software information then tap on build number 7 times to activate developer options.0

it dont seem easy....no step by step guide on any site.....just says, install this, then install this...but where to install the files...??? it dont clarify or i dont mind paying a bit for anyone to do it for me....
i dont even know if i should root it or not ? its a 5 GB internal memory and i use apps like ....watsapp....tango....viber....rootappdelete...app2SD....truecaller...etc etc...will it still need rooting, i am not sure ???

Not being funny but if you're not sure if you should root then I would suggest you don't. Rooting will give you access to parts of the OS you normally wouldn't be able to access which allows a greater degree of customization such as deleting system apps. If you don't have a specific reason for rooting I'd recommend leaving things alone.0 -
Thank you for your advise. I have a chinese fone which i got 2 years ago from here (hotukdeals) and we all managed to root it and i find it easy to move any new apps to the SD card rather than leaving them on phones's internal memory and then later the fone telling me " YOUR INTERNAL MEMORY IS LOW".....thats the only reason.
this fone i purchsed MOTO G 2nd gen XT 1068 .....is i think 5GB internal memory and the chinese one i have currently is 1 GB internal memory....so i just needed advise...

Read this and be aware that root voids all warranty and may even brick your phone .
