Just come across these guys myself - anyone had experience of their induction hobs?
  • Brought a free standing fridge from them - it packed up after just 2 years and 3 months. Cheap, but they don't last.

Bought an oven and induction hob back in April 2016 with these guys. Oven upper element chucked it last week and sods law part isn't in stock and no delivery date or even confirmation part would be in stock again. Managed to get a copy of my product registration from 2016 which covered me for extended period of 5 years for parts. Standard/default is 2 years but with registration takes parts to 5. Don't get me wrong, it was a fight, but they agreed to put £174.50 towards a new oven from their website which is coming shortly.

    Moral of the story-

    1) Makes sure you register product for extended parts cover. Up to you
if you want to pay and extend labour cover. I didn't bother.

    2) Don't give up with this shower. Some tried to fob me off since last
week but i got there in the end yesterday with new oven coming today.

ps- it's been stated above but myappliances, spareszone, the warranty cover, actually all of them seem to fall under Apelson UK.
  • Oh my god do not touch them. Sent me two faulty gas hobs. One member of staff told me I was entitled to their engineer service. Another said I wasn’t. I booked my own. I’ve spent £120 on gas engineers only to discover their products were faulty. I have spent about 3hrs on the phone to them. About 47 emails. Evidence collecting like crazy. They have accused me of lying after they said I could have the hob money back. Still got nothing. I am waiting for c£200 back nearly 4wks later. They are amateur and I am so furious with them. Pay more & get a proper service next time. Awful awful awful company with no concept of after-sales service. I literally hate them with a passion!! I will not stop until I get some money back and will go via a small claims court if I have to. Worst retail experience ever. Buy cheap. Get cheap. Useless and making a fast buck. All calls are recorded so I’ve put in aDSAR request under GDPR for access to all PII held about me and copies of call recordings. Mess me about and rip me off at your peril My Appliances.

If you paid by credit card take the matter up with your card issuer - They are jointly liable and are used to dealing with this sort of thing.
