Phone line rental increases
Comments
-
Whilst line rental has increased sharply, many broadband packages (especially the more basic ones) have fallen.
Talktalk, who you are bemoaning, offer unlimited broadband for just£3.50/month ( that's the standard price monthly, not a limited period promotion) - so for me my actual cost for my phone line and broadband has overall fallen or stayed the same since connecting to broadband in 2006. Can't say the same about much else! Remember to look at the total amount you are paying for whatever package you have.
If you are line rental only and don't have internet, you might want to move to directsavetelecom, who offer a £132 deal for 1 year of line rental, which is £11 per month.0
