checking flowon shower

Just tried checking flow rate on shower, is this the best way?

Trying to figure out if I have flow restrictor on shower.

Turned shower on , collected all water from shower head for the first 10 seconds, then timed that by 6, collected 1 litre, so 6 litres a min, so a 5 min shower is 30 litres, which sounds good to me?

That's the way to do it but checking for 30 seconds would give you a more accurate result.
5lpm for a shower should be sufficient for a decent shower and as you say will save you a lot on your water bill.
