Defeat? You've defeated the laws of physics? Impressive.
I will admit to being wrong about something - I thought Forum trolls were a thing of the past. You have proven me wrong though and I hold my hand up to learning that idiots like you still exist.0 -

At no point have I questioned the laws of physics you just have no understanding of modern technology and how it works.
Troll?? Bit hyhypocritical coming from you, especially as you have not one made a useful post about anything"talk sense to a fool and he calls you foolish" - Euripides0 -
You clearly do not understand how modern construction works, you build a huge thermal store...0

He certainly doesn't understand how a discussion forum works and simply dismisses any opinion that is different from his theoretical, unjustifiable ideology with repeated childish personal insults. He simply is not intelligent enough to debate any issue sensibly.
Best to add this disillusioned 'salesman to the gullible' to your ignore list. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -

youtwo are the ones who reduce to personal insults first. It is a common trend on here you two and a couple of others just badmouth all progression. I am not a salesman of any kind. I run a construction company and you two remind me of a M&E contractor we used recently who had no understanding of modern technology (he was in his 50s which made me wonder if he was going to be anygood) and just harped on about out dated heating methods etc etc. We all had a good laugh about him afterwards after getting a contractor who understood modern heating systems."talk sense to a fool and he calls you foolish" - Euripides0 -

Thought I heard something making a whining noise. Must have been mistaken.0 -

If a well insulated house has a large thermal store, whether this is thick solid walls with heavy external insulation or a large concrete slab (again well insulated) if you allow this thermal store to cool it will take hours of heating before the house actually becomes warm so you need to maintain the temperature in this store to get the highest efficiencies.
Your statements are narrow minded, and clearly you have no understanding of modern construction methods, heating and how to achieve the highest efficient levels.
No actually got an a in a level physics.
What complete rubbish :rotfl:
The warmer a house is the faster energy is lost FACT
Energy used reheating the house will always be less than the energy which would have been used to maintain a constant temperature in the house FACT
If you think you know otherwise you may want to have a browse at this
