would deinately eat it as long as someone else prepared it and i didnt have to see it looking all bunny like.
i am a terrible carivorous hypocrite, i am great at denial and very successful at seperating the cute animals and scrummy dinner in my brain!- prior planning prevents poor performance!

Grey Squirrell is just as good as rabbit although you need a few for a good feed .
By switching to shooting and eating these Yankee vermin and leaving the bunnies alone for a bit you will give our British birds a chance to replenish their numbers .

Yes providing someone else did the *necessary* first:rotfl:
Like sophiesmum, in Malta we ate quite a lot of rabbit as it seems to be a staple. Well, it was always billed as rabbit, but as my DH said, he'd never seen so many stray cats in his life before, and we didn't see many rabbits....................:rotfl:You never get a second chance to make a first impression.0 -
No, for the simple fact I hate the stuff wild or not, I have a lot of friends who do all the time, I wouldn't be bothered if I liked it but I can't even stand the smell of it cooking, tried it in all kinds of ways to cover it but nope, yak! My Grandad had them breeding for food when I was younger and I remember hiding because of the smell when they were cooking. I did end up with a pet one because it came with a batch my Grandad bought and he would have just killed it for dog food otherwise. One day I might be more organised...........

I would definitely eat rabbit but sadly I have some kind of intolerance to it which gives me an upset stomach if I do. Hubby and DD love rabbit stew though, so I have to sit and watch enviously!
My neighbour shoots rabbits and we often get them given to us.0 -
Bunny burgers are excellent. We served some up at a BBQ the other month and they went quicker than the standard burgers.
I also love rabbit with apricot stew. It is absolutely gorgeous. I posted the recipe on here ages ago.
It is a fantastic lean meat.0
