Abbey DIRECT ISA - When are they going to annouce rate rise?

This ISA should be going to 6.25% from 1st August for balances over £9k. Anyone know when they intend on announcing the new rate?

It should be automatic I think but they are normally slow to update their site. A quick phone call should give you the answer.

The 6.25% rate for balances of £9,000 and above comes into effect from the 1st August 2007. Abbey won't update the rates on their website until then.

Thanks once again to Kazza. Indeed the rate has gone to 6.25% on the Abbey website. Wonderful stuff. Heres the link
