    Morning All

I am off work today, I have a sore throat, hacking cough and the toilet has been holding me hostage! Really annoyed as although I don't believe in staying off for the slightest thing, one of my colleagues came in with a similar thing all last week and has obviously shared her germs. First day off sick for over 2 years!

Anyway, I need to stop feeling sorry for myself, have a shower and lay on the settee for most of the day. By 10am I will be bored stiff!

sistercas - still thinking of you, I hope you and your Mum are managing to be of comfort to each other.

The weather is sort of nothing, I think we are to get rain later on though. Had so much washing over the weekend to get dry I think I will leave it today.

DD off to work with leek and pot soup that she made yesterday, I have had to put loads of it in the freezer as there was a pretty big pan full. Salmon for tea, hope I get a bit of an appetite later.

Hope you all have a good week. Take care. XX

    Morning everyone!

Concert went very well last night, good sized audience too, but I'm pretty tired. Nothing too strenuous today, need to take DS16 down to surgery for a blood test at 11.30 and then to his hospital appointment this afternoon. Hoping to drop him off at the hospital so I can go and do the weekly shop, then pick him up later.

Just making some mash for dinner, will buy some sausages while I am out, not sure how late we will be. Will get two loads through washing machine and do a bit of ironing.

  • Evening all
Dr's appointment this morning, the results aren't particularly good but could be a lot worse. My potassium levels have plummeted again & if they drop too low it can cause a heart attack. This is why I was on a potassium drip last time I was admitted to hospital. The problem is that I suffer from none of the things that normally cause potassium deficiency as these are anorexia/bulimia, excessive use of laxatives, longterm diarrhea or vomiting. For now I need to eat lots more bananas & go back for more blood tests.
Hey ho, I'll have to wait for more results.
    Have a good evening everyone.
    Hugs Hester
    Chin up, Titus out.
