Thought I'd pop on with a bit of information about where we're at with the Faster Switching project.

As you know, it's been taking around 35 days to change supplier. We're aiming to cut this to 17 days (14 calendar days cooling off + 3 working days).

To do this, registration will run alongside cooling off and then the additional 3 working days to complete the switch. Don't worry, customers can still cancel in cooling off if they change their minds.

Back in June the industry cut the time a supplier can object to a switch from 5 working days to 1. This started to speed things up.

Earlier this month, we introduced changes so customers can leave us quicker. At the moment, though, this will depend on whether or not the gaining supplier is ready for a faster switch.

In January 15, we'll introduce Faster Gaining and be able to bring a customer over to us in cooling off + 3 working days.

Third parties, like the distributor, who send us information are improving timescales too.

As it stands brewerdave, your switch won't complete under the new Faster Switching as we're gaining you. I'd expect the account to come over within the old timeframe.
