Can I nip on this thread to ask a similar question?...

I have lots of Notes in the Notes folder on my iPhone 5. If I buy a new iPhone, is there any way of transferring my Notes over to it? Bet there isn't, but worth an ask.
    :D I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe :D

Why do you need/want a new iThing if you don't know how the old one works? Doesn't any one know the term caveat emptor, or as they used to say "think before you drink and drive"?

Either backup to iTunes which will copy the apps onto your computer, you can then restore from the backup. Or backup to iCloud, and restore the backup which will re download the apps from the App Store. So long as you are signed in on the apple account you purchased the apps on you won't be charged again.

You can either sync your notes to iCloud in settings, which should then sync them to a new device. Or check if they are backed up in any iCloud backup you do.

My current iPhone is well into the second year of my contract and the battery is becoming unreliable. Thought I might treat myself to a new one, that's all.

Does anyone know absolutely everything about how their gadgets work? I can text, make calls and use the net, plus utilise the apps I need, which is all I want to do. No need for sarcasm.

Perhaps you mistook my cynicism as sarcasm, however it wasn't your thread to start with and given your stats perhaps you should know to start your own thread. now that is sarcasm
