All,
I have received a £60/£100 fine for staying 12 minutes in a car park near leeds train station when waiting to pick my wife up. I never got out of the car, just waiting there on a thursday.
I have 10 days to pay a £60 fine. obviously this seems harsh considering i didnt leave the car - what should i do? appeal? pay it?
Thanks for this in advance.
Regards
Ben

You've missed the sticky thread 'Newbies please read this first'. You don't need more advice than that - not at this stage anyway!
CLAIM?! What 'claim'?This was on the 24th October and the notice was only issued on the 11th November? is this over the allocated period for them to claim?
Yes they are too late for keeper liability but the newbies thread explains that often PPCs do this. You still have to appeal as per the sticky thread.
