Memories not so hot now sadly but I recall the best thing about a mirafiori was the front seats, always thought you could take them out and use them for armchairs.Pity about the rest of the car..0 -

They were good weight watchers cars. Every Monday they would have shed a few ounces and left you a nice iron oxide deposit. I bet you got back less car than you had stolen.

Reminds me of a way I was told of how to tell if someone is middle class or working class.
If the TV is bigger than the book shelves you're working class.0 -

We now know who stole the car. The Thames Valley Police are being their usual non rapid response selves. It may have even been seen this evening nearly hitting a pedestrian whilst travelling like a lunatic.
Thanks for the helpful replies though.
My car was notified to the Police by the people whose house it was parked outside six weeks before the Police informed me !! By then I'd already bought a replacement. :rotfl:0 -

It is a very distinctive car. Mid level spoiler, 17 " ST2 wheels and a very very very noisy exhaust.
It was seen in Downley, High Wycombe and then Saunderton, which is between High Wycombe & Aylesbury. It may have been headed towards Aylesbury/Oxford but could now be further afield.
It is a dark blue Subaru Impreza. Registration M758 XVE. It has a pink Subaru badge on the grill, and gold 17 " ST2 wheels with a mid level spoiler. It also has a Subaru banner sticker across the top of the windscreen. You will hear this car. It has a very very noisy exhaust on it.
my friend is devastated as this car is her pride & joy.
A REWARD IS OFFERED.
I cant find how to post pictures on here??
Can people please keep an eye (&ear!) out and share this info where possible in the hope we can find the car. A reward is offered.
Have you got it back yet?0 -
Thank you Little Ginge for posting this thread to try and HELP me get my car back.
To those who are questioning why I want it back:
It was my car and how dare someone take it!!!!!!
The car is fully insured with every mod declared on it and it is insured Fully Comp!!!!!!! I would not be that stupid to drive a car like that with third party only insurance!!!!!! The immobiliser fitted to the car is the one the insurance company wanted!!!!!!! They asked for it so it was fitted!!!!!!!!!
Makes me mad that people are questioning me when the police are not pointing the finger at me! Cars get stolen all the time but I have had the car nearly 8 years and it was my hobby! My daughter is 10 and this was her pride and joy too! That is why we wanted it back, nothing to do with "insurance or having no alarm and immobiliser"!
Thankfully the insurance company for the car have been far more helpful!0 -

Ignore the sneering people on this forum. I hope you get your car back soon and in one piece.0 -

No, it has all gone very quiet. I thought seeing as the car was well known someone might have seen it. I think someone may have it locked away waiting for it all to die down to move it or it is in parts
