Co-Op £100 Switching Incentive

Hey Guys,

I am looking to switch to the Co-Op current account for the £100 switch incentive.

It says on the website that you need 2 'Active' direct debits, if I was to set up 2 mandates that wouldn't actually come out of the account, would these count as 'active'? It doesn't make it terribly clear on their website.

Had a discussion on the phone with them yesterday, DDs do not need to pay out but must be in force. Remember that to get the £100 the DDs have to be transferred with your old account, they can not be set up after the transfer on the co-op account if you want the incentive.
