The gifts are drying up at the moment :'(

If you woke up breathing, congratulations! You get another chance. And finally, be really nice to your family and friends; you never know
when, You might need them to empty your bedpan.
  • Hi

I called up for the Cosmo Hair and Beauty (Toni and Guy offer XA17) and was told that the free gift didn't apply if paying by quarterly direct debit of £2.49.
Has anyone who's set this up quarterly had confirmation of the free gift?

    Thanks

    Suse

I've just phoned up and ordered by quarterly direct debit. The lady told me the free gift would be sent to my address, although the magazine would be sent to my daughter, as I said it was for a xmas present.

i'm confused regarding the Stuff offer, it says:

    "3 Issues for a £1 then 3 Issues @ £7.99 thereafter"

I would like the 3 for £1, but no the thereafter, is there a way out of it?

    cheers

Yeah, just cancel your Direct Debit as soon as your third issue arrives. For what it's worth, I cancelled before I even got my first issue, yet I'm still getting the mag ;-)

Glamour magazine - 12 issues plus "Sandal Scandal" by BeneFit worth £27.50 for the first 1000 subscribers.  I know it's not as cheap as some of the other subscriptions but a great Crimbo pressie for someone.  The 'freebie' is still available as I subscribed by phone just a few minutes ago.  Tel 01858 438819 offer ref 2754.  Online http://www.subscription.co.uk/home/subso.asp?m=469&src=.

This link takes you to a page to subscribe to Glamour magazine but it asks for a code. Any idea what the promotion code is? or is there a different link???
Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you

Have you tried the ref posted - 2754?

Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."
  • I have subscribed to the Computer Shopper offer of £1 for three issues but having checked my bank a/c online this morning I have found that they have taken £19-99 from my account >:(

I'll be contacting them asap to sort it out - anyone who has subscribed to Dennis Publishings offer should check their bank statements carefully. >:(

I have just received my second copy of Computer Shopper and so have cancelled my direct debit to Dennis Publishing. This I find, is the best method to avoid having a payment taken from your account. I've always still received the third issue anyway, with these 3 issues for a pound deals.

The only problem I ever had was with a subscription to PC Zone. I cancelled the direct debit as usual and thought nothing more of it, but when I received a forth issue of the mag I know something was up. The direct debit had somehow it reappeared. I quickly cancelled it and fingers crossed won't have any outstanding charge with them.
