argh no a sewing machine with free motion embroidery and letters, even harder to resist - thank goodness for the nursery run.

Too many deals to look through to find the bits worth hanging around the computer for.

Thanks calcat, it looked a bit different so thought I'd go for it, I'm sure they will enjoy it. Melissa and doug stuff tends to be good.

Agreed. Black Friday is supposed to be all about great deals, not just a couple of £ off..


What *isn't* listed in the daily deals and is indeed a bargain if anyone's after one and hasn't seen it yet, there is £100 off all the 7" Fire HDX tablets

Why do so many people add the item to their basket only for them not to bother with the purchase?

Crunch time came, I clicked as soon as the button appeared and found I was number 62 on the list for the iPhone 5. Yet within 5 minutes, Amazon was then telling me I had a chance to buy one.
I suspect there was less than 10 available to buy, especially for me to be at number 62 pretty much straight away, so loads of people must have not bothered!

Even more fun is that over an hour later only 23% has been claimed!
Maybe people don't want it because it's not the latest model...

Will check back later but nothing much else is interesting me today.

People do it so they can then price match aganst ebay etc within the 15 mins allocated to checkout - i do it myself, which i know is annoying but at the end of the day it's important to get the best deal and Amazon isn't always cheapest even with the deals.

People click straight away before they get chance to read the price, that way if the price is acceptable to them they will purchase if not they cancel.
