There hasn't been anything to really tempt me so far this year, but that's probably for the best!!

who wants a new sewing machine me - who cant afford a new sewing machine or need one - me again. This could be dangerous

Can you get Create and Craft shopping channel on your TV? They normally have good deals on sewing machines and often you can spread the payments over a few months. I've ordered three machines from there now (not all for me) and been happy with them.

Can you explain to me where it says you need to be connected to an ethernet cable I don't see it. I see it saying you can attach Wired such as blu rays etc and the device can share the network!! Seems to me to be exactly what I'm looking for.
    Hi

    Take a look here:

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/TP-Link-TL-PA4020PKIT-Powerline-Configuration-Streaming/dp/B00LV41PO4

At the table after the drawing in the details.
The version you purchased doesn't have a "Wi-Fi speed" as it's not actually Wi-Fi. You'd need the next one up for that.

There is no mention of Wi-Fi and the pictures show cables from every plug (the only picture that doesn't is showing they will use your electrical cables in the walls to transmit data.

However, if they arrive and you have noticed VERY strong signal where there was NO signal before, do let me know :)

Yes, what you have linked to above is a Wi-Fi version, so will do what you want, but the BT one that was on the sale (that I linked to) wasn't Wi-Fi, just the same as the Powerline ones... which means cables or it's pointless, unless you stick a wireless router at the other end too.

    It's really not that difficult.
If you want Wi-Fi (IE, no connection of cables), look for it in the title of the product and look for the speed. It'll be the selling point of the product so won't be difficult to find.

    WEDNESDAY 26th

Yet another day of disappointing sales to start.
What is annoying though is that for some items, they will change the start time. Other items are added in throughout the day, which ultimately just alienates those who can't refresh every two minutes!

However if last years have been anything to go by, next week should see some of the "deals" return and this coming Friday is supposed to be the day for huge savings...

I think there is proof there that some will buy anything if you say it is reduced.

Canon 7D body only £624.99 (apparently a 11% reduction) is twice the price it is at SLR hut on normal price.

    Just so you know:

SLR hut import their products from abroad, hence the cheaper prices.

If you're happy with that, great prices, but if you want a "pure" UK/European version of a product then best buy it from elsewhere.

Thanks for the info about the discount code, that is very good to know :)

Make sure you use TopCashback too for extra savings!

If you make regular purchases from ZooPlus, they will invite you to join their "Savings Plan"- pay a fee for a 5% discount over 3 years. So far I saved £61.06.

Dangerous knowledge, there is nothing wrong with my sewing machine, its just a little basic. I would love to give free motion embroidery a try. However it is good to know for if mine ever breaks thanks x
  • Nothing I'm interested in today either, judging by the previews.

No Clipper tea this year! I stocked up for months at last year's BF week.
