I do agree with a lot of the comments about how this years' offers aren't a patch on previous years. I've bought a few things but they were all things I wanted/needed anyway for xmas presents so I'm happy - there have been no impulse buys for me (yet!) which I think (to me anyway) shows the difference in this years' offerings.

Remember kids, it's only a bargain if you need it ;)

I've just bought the Vax steam cleaner which I've been after for a few weeks now so was delighted to see that was going in the deals... however a slightly mean £20.00 off, while still a good buy, is not what I'd call a "fantastic" bargain.

I've started a new game (for my own amusement).... trying to spot which 'offers' will reappear again tomorrow (and/or the next day....) :D

Had my eye on Merlin & SATC dvd box sets for today.

Got Merlin then decided against it to try for SATC instead, now regret chucking it out my basket aargh!

Joined wait list just in case.

SATC is currently selling for £25 so am hoping for a good discount.

I know this is a bit late but if it hasn't been dispatched/prepared for dispatch then just cancel it.

Yes got lucky with the Merlin wait list :D

Now fingers crossed for the last deal I am looking at for today coming up later.
  • Agree that most of the stuff is really no great bargain.
However so far I have managed to buy : 2 pairs of boots, a box of pens, a TV and a hedgehog ornament:eek:! In my defence they were all things I was going to buy anyway (yes even the hedgehog which is Christmas pressie for my sister who collects hedgehog stuff!) and whilst mostly not stunning bargains all worked out slightly cheaper than I've seen anywhere else. So I'm happy!:T

For anyone with Avatar in their basket or in the waiting list.....

This Blu-ray is currently in a 2 for £25 offer which still comes off even with the Black Friday deal.

Just bought Avatar, Quantum Leap and The Hobbit (not a BF deal but part of the 2 for £25 Blu-ray offer) for £38.98 making the price of the 2 blu-rays £17.99
    :)
