I got an email from Amazon this morning advertising an X Box One family bundle but I can't see any mention of it for the deals coming later. Anyone know if it is?
Nothing really floating my boat today!
Here's a question - what time will deals go on line at other retailers on Friday? I know John Lewis stores are opening at 8am but will that be the same time as the deals go on line or will that be midnight?

Well we bought a few things yesterday, mainly DVD's off various christmas lists (and Goodnight Sweetheart which was a bonus buy but will be passed round the family!) got the my pal violet, for my brand new daughter violet
We have 2 accounts so my sister and i also got the Real Techniques brushes which was a brilliant deal.
Already this morning have bought another DVD off the list and the micro pedi which has been wanted for a while! not much today so far, apart from a few more DVD's
I'm braving Bicester village on friday, leaving at 5.30 am  thank god for free wifi and the amazon app lol0 -
I never find much in the BFD week and this year is no exception :rotfl:
Present-wise, I bought the Finding Longitude book yesterday and that's it. Might get the History of the World in Maps today but it will depend on price.
I'm just hoping that the cartridges for my water filter jug are back on this year so that I can stock up again. Now free from the incompetence of vodafail0 -
Why are all the children's things on around school run time?0

The discounts really aren't great this year, are they?
Is it me or was it better when they first did it?
Have bought two things we needed:
1) A wifi extender. The deal said the normal price was £39.99, deal price £25.99. Camelcamelcamel showed that it's been £29.99 for most of the last two months anyway. So only saved £4.
2) A travel blackout blind. Deal said RRP £29.99, deal price £15.99. CamelCamelCamel says it's normally £20 anyway. Again, saving £4.
I've also noticed that if you go to a product page after claiming a deal, it shows you the current normal selling price. Again, for the blind above, it's not £29.99 currently, it's £22.99.
I don't mind - I knew all this before purchasing and picked these up because they're things we'd been after. Just not going nuts and impulse buying loads of tat I don't need this year! Fully expect the things I bought to drop to the deal price in January anyway.0 -
I got the Wifi extender too didn't think it was too great a deal but it was something that I really needed so went for it. Agree it showed £29.99 so only a fiver saving!0
