Welcome to MoneySaving Jinx and thanks for the info :)

Are Avon "The Company" aware of how good a mosquito repellant Woodland Fresh is/was?

A neighbour has told me that taking garlic capsules a few weeks before you go and while you are away, makes the skin smelly enough to keep mozzies away, but not smelly enough to keep humans away! You'll find them among the vitamins in shops.

I haven't been away yet to test it, but you might like to try it.
Here I go again on my own....

    Hi

I used to get eaten alive by mozzies, until my doctor recommended taking Vitamin B as well as my usual antihistamines, i start taking a week or so before my holiday, and hey presto never get eaten by them now!!!

Huge long list of uses for Avon SSS here from user Saint_Chris, apart from the usual mossies and midgies ;)

My sister in law was also advised to take Vitamin B before she went away recently. She usually comes home from holidays covered in huge lumps from masses of bites, but last week she came back with nothing but a lovely tan, so it seemed to work for her.

Make sure it's the smelly capsules though not the no odour stuff (for obvious reasons)
