  • You are liable to fine and points if you do this. You need a police person there to enforce it though. A camera would do the job.

The problem is they NEVER bl00dy enforce against these behaviours!!

I have to agree with everyone! Now, that's a rare occurrence! In Bristol they monitor by camera and post fines to offenders. I'm no fan of surveillance but if it's used for the greater good, well, I'll put up with it.
    Another why.
WHY do so few slow to 50 at motorway roadworks? Why is the limit not enforced? Although the carriageway may be clear, a car doing 50 is lesslikely to jump the protective barrier and kill or injure a worker. It's difficult to stay at 30 or below in a modern car, gear ratios don't seem to be chosen with this speed in mind. Too slow for fifth, too fast for third or fourth. 50 should not be a problem.

If one lorry overtakes another, the slower lorry will flash lights when the tail of the overtaker has passed and is clear to move back to the inside lane. If they flash when meeting, they know each other.
  • Are taxis allowed to use bus lanes? I thought they were excluded due to protests from cyclists.

If they are not allowed to use bus lanes, plenty of them do!

Why should it affect cyclists? 99% of them use the pavements now (even when there's a cycle lane).
