When do I get my lump sum

I retired from Civil Service on Friday 24th October this year. I have not yet had my lump sum paid to me.
I contacted myCSP two days ago who told me all 'appeared' to be in order and that there had been activity by the 'robots' on my account. The person I spoke to was unable to give me a date as to when my lump sum would be in my bank. All he could do was 'escalate this to the next level' and I was promised a phone call to confirm. Two days have passed - no lump sum - no phone calls.

Grateful if someone can confirm how long it NORMALLY takes for a Civil Service lump sum to be paid. I would have thought shorter than this as they had four months notice and acknowledged paperwork had been received from me.

Thank you for this xylophone - why am I not surprised - I hope my regular pension comes through on 23rd as I have bills to play.

Is this issue something Martin Lewis can take up

4 months notice given. Papers put in then and confirmed one month before retirement - acknowledgement letter from myCSP dated 2nd October

I suspect that this - contributing to public. leaders @ the Guardian and contacting Richard Heaton the permanent secretary at Cabinet Office direct (since Cabinet Office has a board member on My CSPLtd.)- is likely to be the only way of getting improvements in the service provided by MyCSP Ltd. It seems, from Orangeanorak's experience and other comments that service seems to be no better than it was back in March 2013 when I retired. Then, the combination of the newly mutualised MyCSP Ltd. and Capita took well over 5 months to begin to pay my pension. It was not until late in August of that year that I finally received confirmation of my pension statement and entitlements (including correct details of voluntary contributions to added pension), an apology for the delays, and an ex gratia payment of 250 pounds to settle my claim for interest on the unpaid pension. This was also to take into account the numerous phone calls, e-mails and letters I had made since every time they said they would respond to me by a certain date they failed to do so (sometimes at all) and despite the fact that they had had the details of my retirement for several weeks before the departure date.

No phone call - no lump sum! I had intended to use my lump sum towards and investment opportunity that I have now missed. I wonder if my pension will come through on 23rd as promised by MyCSP. I still have bills to pay and am becoming slightly concerned.
