Ignoring emails is one, thing, ignoring letters is another- and covered under the rules of what they must do.

Which means you can advance your complaint, and you have yet more proof of their being at fault and if anything it will cinrease any compensation. Sending an email that is ignored doesn't get you the same.

"...the rules of what they must do..." is an interesting concept.

The most fundamental of these "rules" would be to pay pensions and lump sums on time, yet they are manifestly failing.

You would think another rule might be to respond in a timely manner to written letters, but that rule again doesn't apply to MyCSP.

If you telephone MyCSP, they suggest you might prefer to e-mail them to save having to wait 20+mins on the line. If you e-mail them, their automated reply - if you are lucky enough to get one - says to telephone them!

We are not dealing here with a normal company with the usual understanding of the conventional "rules" that you & I understand.

Did you send your letter to MyCSP's CEO at Bird Hall Lane, Cheadle, SK3 0XN marked Private and request a reply from her in person? I did this with the 'threat' of issuing an IDR complaint if the issues were not sorted out within 1 week. That worked!
  • Answered in detail in post #27 of thread Poor Service from MyCSP.

    I won't repeat here.

  • Just had a phone call from mycsp at 12:40 - apology and promise of action. The conversation is as email below that caller promised to send

    Good Afternoon Mr Nxxxxx

Following on from our telephone conversation I am writing to confirm your outstanding lump sum payment of £x will be made to you as a CHAPS payment into your bank account after 3pm on Monday.

Unfortunately we had missed the cut off for CHAPS payments this morning so I could not arrange for it to be paid after 3pm today.

I have also put in your request for compensation with the relevant team and they will be back in touch shortly regarding this.

I would like to apologise for the inconvenience this has caused and for the lack of communication you have received.

If you have any further questions then please do not hesitate to contact me. My direct line is xxxxx.

    Kind Regards
