Cancelled Flight

My flight Heathrow to Athens was cancelled just over an hour before departure. The airline claimed bad weather at the destination. Was rebooked for the following morning. No help was provided and no overnight accommodation. I checked online and the weather was fine. This information is readily available from most weather sites. Where do I stand with a claim? Any ideas?
