As above. Not catch up TV (like Roku) or a recorder (like Humax) or UHF-RF (aerials), just a Freeview tuner on a WiFi stick that would plug into HDMI and just play streaming live Freeview TV?

Yes, there are a few options that will fill this requirement.
Remote HD freeview box and HDMI wireless senders, Raspberry PI or android box running XBMX....
But can you be clearer as to why you need this setup? might be an easy solution.0 -

Streaming live Freeview from what? Doesn't something has to be receiving the signal from an aerial in order for the tuner to work? I'm not an expert, but not sure what you are talking about is on the market, if you are not getting the signal from somewhere else.
There were a few miniature Freeview "boxes" on the market which were basically oversized Scart plugs about the size of a pack of cards and containing a tuner, but you still had to plug a cable into them from the aerial.0 -
Ok thanks. Can a new modern house be free of internal and externals aerials and run a live digital Freeview broadband service?
Catch up boxes show me yesterday. Can I see "now" in the same manner?0 -

Yes, mostly, not every freeview channel is available via streaming services but the main ones are.
Google "XBMC live UK streams".
Why though? never seen it where it wouldn't be easier to install some form of aerial.0 -
tgon - the ideal solution for Freeview (that's digital terresterial) is to get an aerial. Internal or external, and can go in the roofspace too, if reception is good enough.
Otherwise, iPlayer allows you to watch live officialy, so that's easy enough, but I don't think you'll find official live streams of all the Freeview channels online. And if you find unofficial ones, they could move.0 -
Not forgetting that you put yourself in the position that if your internet goes down then so does all your tv viewing options, so why not look for some kind of discreet indoor panel type aerial that could just be local to the tv and so provide live channels - so making it easier to channel surf than flicking from one stream to another and waiting for buffering \ artefacting on the signal received..0
