Virgin Media Cancellation charges!

Hello

I have recently moved so cancelled VM services (phone, bb & tv) from my previous house. Was shocked when I was told that I would have to pay £15 for cancelling the services. I had been a Telewest customer from 2003 (which then changed to VM).

I have never heard of paying exit fees for leaving a service provider - can anyone help?!

Many thanks

It would suggest that you could be still under contract? Have you changed your speed or services in the last 12 months? if so they'll start a new term of contract & the exit fee's stated are probably related to that term :)
  • No I haven't changed my services. Think I will contact them and ask them to clarify the fees.

    Thanks for your post.

Did you give them 30 days notice of cancellation?
That gum you like is coming back in style.
  • No I didn't - isn't VM paid in arrears though?
